As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You will lead a team of production workers, through training, guidance, and support to ensure that operational objectives are achieved.

This role is responsible for:

  • Supervising and coordinating production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet production goals.
  • Training, mentoring, and motivating production staff to ensure they perform their duties effectively and safely.
  • Monitoring production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor KPI’s for each team and help drive the results
  • Collaborating with other departments
  • Maintaining production records and reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Supporting production teams on the floor where required.

About you:

  • 3-5 years industry experience (preferably food) in a production environment
  • Understanding of and exposure to production compliance, HR, Quality and Food Safety, Fresh Produce, Health and Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles
  • Experience in building and leading teams including the ability to influence others
  • Mechanical mindset and ability to make technical adjustments to factory machinery
  • Able to make decisions within authority limits and when necessary, escalate issues
  • Able to balance conflicting priorities
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
  • Able to interpret and use relevant reports and data
